My dad and a couple of his sisters are very well known in the family for having the "Baking Gene". My mom too - but I'm talking about the "Hubertz" side of the family again here.....

It makes me want to bake up a cake or two this weekend while hanging out with mom while dad and the brother are out of town - mom and I were always the crafty ones in the family. (Boy did I start a fight with that comment.) Besides, I have an even better reason to bake this weekend - my husband's birthday is on Monday.
