So, I've decided that going with the "two cups" part of the title.... I should really try to limit myself to two subjects to comment on with every post... and they will be listed in the title of every post, so you can just peruse the titles to find what you might be most interested in reading my thoughts on.
Cars:
So, I'm walking out of work tonight and as I walk through the first parking lot, there is my old car sitting right where I parked it the last time I came to work. No, "Sweetie Pie" didn't actually return in the metal, but one that looked much like her did - and they parked in the spot I parked when I had to work that one weekend day right before I was due to pick up my new car and drop off my much beloved Subaru Outback. The one sitting before me was blue/tan, same identical rims on the tires, no battle scars like my car had, but the car was from Don Jacobs Subaru in Waukesha and the license plate expired in Jun 2009 (like mine) and the plate number was WKZ - *** (will not reveal entire license number just the part that is like mine). Too weird.... and it was just sitting there - almost like it was calling my name and saying "You know you want to drive me Erin". I'm sure I'll be driving my old Subaru in my dreams tonight now.
Running: I'm going to like running at the Pettit Ice Center very much. Great scenery and I don't even really need to take my MP3 player because they are playing music over the speakers. There is a good sized group of runners who were on the track last night too - not too many to crowd the two lane track, but not too few that you felt like an oddball running around while there are many others doing hockey and speedskating practice at the same time. While I'm very glad to be one of the runners there, there is something absolutely beautiful about the way those speedskaters just fly around the ice. And even though they keep the temp inside the building down in the 40's to keep the ice from melting, while running, you don't notice the temp at all. I think my knees do need to get used to the new running surface a bit, so I'm not going out again until Friday - but then I hope to run there at least 3 times a week.
That's it for tonight - I have a lengthy list of subjects to delve into with all of you (my ever growing group of followers) and I promise to make it more entertaining and interesting as I continue to blog.
Love each other gently....
Erin
