It's time to be thankful....

Some of the things I'm thankful for:

1. My friends who saw me through my darkest days of my split with Sam and those who are out there and still lending me a hand to get through the rest of them.

2. My family - as much as we may all have our differences, I know tonight's dinner will be one of the most entertaining and as odd a way we have of showing it sometimes - we are all there to support one another, even if we don't seem to do it in the most beneficial of ways at first.

3. My stepson - who made my day a couple nights ago when he sat and talked to me for a while about school, his birthday, etc.

4. That while today was a long and sad one, it was a gorgeous day outside and everyone at work was in good spirits. And for Mike and Kristin that opened their home to me and invited me for dinner and entertainment this evening.

5. That I have a great running coach and he doesn't appear to be anywhere near as frustrated with my plateau as I am, but is still giving strict ideas and direction.

6. There is a roof over my head and food to eat.

7. A big soft bed and two dogs that currently are keeping my feet warm.

8. A cat that knows when I need him to cuddle up to me and just let me pet him and stare off into space.

9. Knowing that there is more out there for me to do, see, experience and that I'm going to make a difference in someone's life - either in love or my future career.

10. There's always a chance that I could still win the big Powerball jackpot... anytime now. :D

So, how about all of you - my couple loyal readers - what are you thankful for this year?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Erin
